    Al:

I couldn't find a link to your schedule that worked. When is this going into production?

    Thanks,

Hah! You are right, I missed that one. Never even saw that link down with his "signature". I kept finding older links that didn't work.

There is still quite a wait for this one then.

    Thanks.

    Wow, there is indeed.

Is the second machine operational yet? I'm looking forward to this little guy.

Maybe it's just me, but as time goes by, Feb 2013 seems less and less far away.

Yep - Sneeze a couple of times and that'll be right here. And you will have signed up for 5 or 6 more molds to boot. Me too.

I'm out. Went from February 2013 to maybe never. Money talks I guess.

I have to say that I’m more than a bit disappointed with Al’s new production schedule. The reality is that this mold will never be as popular as the pistol molds and will continue to be pushed to the bottom of the list, if it ever makes it to the production schedule again. It took almost 10 months to get 19 orders, I don’t think it will ever get 30. My single cavity lyman mold may be slow but it’s quicker than nothing. I’m not going to remove my name from the list right now but I really think this buy is dead.

If I could find a lyman single cavity right now - I would buy it. This mold may be made yet. I am keeping my name on the list. I wish Al would leave those group buy molds already on the schedule that have at least 15 orders - And institute the new rule after those already in the pipeline are run. I understand his logic in making the change - But seems kind of like pulling back from something that has already been promised. This is one of those molds in particular, that I would really like to see run. Especially since it is a hard mold to come by - And because I would really like to have it in a flat nose configuration. I do really appreciate everything Al has done for this community - and would not want to do without the wonderful molds he has made for me.

The things that I wrote in this post were done in haste without all the facts. I have chosen to delete them so they do not potentially cause any further damage to the people involved. Anything that was said in rebuttal to this post I earned.

After giving it a little consideration if others feel
the same about this buy we can close it and move
    the next one up.
This has been just about a brake even proposition from
the word go and with costs of everything going up, delivery
times running out longer and longer and the attitudes of some
it make it harder and harder to try and provide what I
    thought was a needed service.

Your call tell me what you want

No hard feelings or complaints Al but I will drop out of this one too.

I am very happy with the NOE moulds I have and was looking forward to this one but it looks like it is dead in the water at this point.

I understand you have a business to run and it takes a given production level to keep unit costs reasonable and still make a profit.

I haven't followed all the posts but have you considered charging a higher cost for small runs? I would rather pay more to get a custom mould that fits my sloppy .303 bores than not get a mould at all. I don't know of anyone else making the 311465 in 5 cavity, 0.316" diameter and HP option. I think your prices are quite reasonable so it wouldn't hurt my feelings to pay 20% to 30% more for a mould tailored to my needs.

If larger runs yield cheaper moulds for others I guess that's life eh. I might get in on some of those buys too. Just a thought.

Anyway, as stated above, it looks like we won't get to the number of orders required for a buy any time soon so I will make other plans.

Please take my name off the list.

    Thanks,
    Longbow
