I contacted Miha by way of PM last week asking if he knew of a start date for this GB? I got a response just the other day.

He could not give a date and advised that he was very busy and literally working double time to keep up with his current work load.

No approx date was given either.

So we are up to date now.....

I'd like to get in on this with the large and flat pins. I'd prefer one cut for .454 but will go with the larger size if it is not an option.

EDIT: Forget the .454 I'll go with the .460.

Updated............. Hornady 45 caliber GCs should work fine on these. You guys who want handles will have to tell MiHec you want a set with the mold and find out what he wants for them. We're up to 34 now..........

462 Hammer GC Mihec Cramer HP
This is a run of an earlier Lee GB. This will be a two cavity, single crimp groove, GC cramer brass mold that is suitable for the 45-70, 450 Marlin and like 45 caliber rifles as well as 45 caliber handguns. It will cast at 0.462", 0.357" meplat to crimp groove and a 0.379" meplat. It sizes easily to 0.452/0.454". The following is the discussion thread.

We will need fifteen to commit to this. We will run this until we get the number we need. I will find out what MiHec wants to do this, but I expect it will be similar to all the others. MiHec gave these prices. Price is $85 with one set of pins included plus $10 for each extra pin set plus $15 shipping. Should anybody not want all the pins, I will need an update on individual pin sets.

Pin options: 1) small HP, 2) large HP, 3) penta HP, 4) blank pin for flat nose

Weights, ready to load: small hp 326 gr., large/penta hp 314 gr., solid 337 gr.

How about the Gator gas checks from Blammer. I have both types. Does anybody know if either the Gator thin pistol or thicker rifle 45 cal gas checks will work with castings from this mold?? It wont kill my commitment, I'm in even if Gator checks wont fit properly.

I don't mind buying the Hornady brand if necessary but I prefer to use what I have on hand. Also I would prefer to send my $$'s to a board member rather than Midway or another distributer.

Anybody know if this boolit will function thru a Cimmeron Arms model 1876 in 45-75? Haven't got it yet, it is still on lay away.
