I had Doug Turnbull turn my Browning 1886 into a 50-100-450. I have the original 45/70 octagon take-off barrell. Before I throw it on GB and sell it for whatever it goes for, can anyone think of anything interesting to do with it?
Thanks
Aaron

Ship it to me!!
Seriously, what do you want for it?
Earl,
I wouldn't know what to ask for it. I thought about seeing if it could be made to fit a Remington 700 action and make a smokeless capable muzzle loader out of it.
BTW- could you throw a pic on my interest thread in GB discussion for your 50time cal. Boolit?
Thanks
Aaron
Is this a Japanese barrel or an original, old school, Winchester barrel?
If it is "Made in Japan", it is worth $90 (I recently bought a few different modern octagon barrels and that is what I was paying.
If it is Old School, New Haven CT barrel, then condition comes into play and only God knows what it will fetch.
