    Noe 454230

This is 300 that I cast getting ready for a family shoot at Christmas. I will need to get more cast and then all reloaded by Christmas.

I have a 4 cavity and measured 4 from one cast to compare cavities.

    .455 x .455 226.8gr
    .455 x .455 226.5gr
    .454 x .455 226.1gr
    .454 x .455 226.0gr

I didn't keep track of which came out of which cavity, but with these measurements it doesn't make any difference. I will be sizing them all to .452. I had to look at the two smaller boolits with magnification to find the seam.

I finally got around to casting some of them.

My NOE 5C works great, I think I cast up about 400 of them.

I found the sweet spot in temp for the mould was 425°.

If it got hotter, just cool off by touching to a damp cloth.

    I like it!

    Now to load some up.

Same here. The expenditure of lots of ammo at Christmas wasn't a test for accuracy. It was about plinking at targets at the back of the property and lots of laughter and ribbing. A good time was had, but I haven't had a chance to test for accuracy yet.
