Mine's a 144LSA that I picked up with the rather weak excuse of it being a "backup/loaner" smallbore rifle. I had to shim the rear receiver sight out from the receiver with longer bolts to get the windage proper. It's not as sexy as some of its pricier contemporaries, but it's an an excellent shooter for the indoor reduced target stuff I do with it. The folks at Havlin get me set up with replacement safety marker dots and correct sling swivels. They were GREAT to deal with later when I was restoring one of Mossberg's more obscure 346K's for a friend's little boy - they knew what I needed and I had it refinished and running in time for Christmas.

I got Mossbergitis big time! I love em all! Recently I picked up a model 26c (a) and it didn't have a bolt. Seems that is common for this model, a single shot made in 1938-39. If anyone on the forum has such an animal, I am a buyer! I also need the front sight hood. It is designed for this model and no other that I can determine - also a hard to find part. Any help in locating these parts will be greatly appreciated!!!

I have a 44USa that will shoot one hole groups all day with ammo it likes at 50 yards. I mounted a 6.5x20x50 target dot scope one this one. Really makes the target stand out. Wouldn't thake love nor money for it. Belonged to my dad.

Bunny busting ? One of my 44's came w/o any sights from a LGS. It's now threaded for suppressor. The varmints in the garden don't even notice when I miss(yup, I miss ! ). Shoot 'em often out of the bathroom window. Their choice really. Stay out of the garden or die.
