    NOE 7mm 150 gr Hunter

Got a 10 lb Lee pot cooking some WW ingots for casting with my new NOE 7mm 150 gr Hunter 3c GC mould. I'll let y'all know the results of the casting session. I plan to use these bullets for deer/hog hunting @ 1600 to 1700 fps from my 10" T-C Contender 7mm TCU. By the way, the NOE mould, my first, is a work of art, not a tool.

First, the NOE mould cast like a dream. In other words, it cast like you wish all moulds would cast. In 45 minutes of casting my 10 lb pot gave me 265 Near Perfect to Perfect bullets & 39 Slightly Wrinkled bullets for a Total of 304 good bullets. AW = 148.9 grs.

Every bullet I clamped in my micrometer measured the same nose diameter of .277" and the same band diameter of .287". All I can say is, WOW and Swede Nelson you know what you're doing!

The measurements were taken opposite the seams. IME, for hunting purposes the SW bullets will shoot just as well as the NP and P bullets.

I have my eye on this mold for my No.1 7x57. I'm patiently waiting for some test boolits, aren't I **Oneshot**, LOL.....
I have 1 NOE mold and it does perform really well! I hope to buy a few more NOW molds.

UPDATE, this boolit design didn't work too well in my 7x57. The throat in my rifle is much longer than I thought, oh well....

Nope, and I've switched to my 30-30 barrel and the RanchDog165. Maybe before the season ends I'll go back to the 150 Hunter.
