    Cast a few tonight. Warmed the mould and started. First cast had temperature flaws, second cast was a keeper. Bore riding nose hit .301 on the money. OAL was .788 and weighed in at 146.2 gr. Almost perfect.

    The mailman dropped mine off today. Hard to believe after drooling over the drawing in my Lyman's Cast Bullet Manual all of these years that I'm finally going to be casting these.

    Out of the NEF .30-30, I had a reasonable target once I got between 20 and 22.5 gr of 5744. Starting load of 14 grs 5744 was horrible. I'm going to like this one.
