    Noe 311284

Casted up 233 bullets today using 1/2 lino and wheel weights, DC mold,
190 of them weight at 206.4 to 206.6
The rest, 35 bullets weight at 205.9 grs.
In my M1 garand last week using this bullet at 208 grs. 18 grs. 4759 I got a group of 4 at .785 and my normal flyer at 2.986. This is a good mold and bullet.

I bought this bullet to shoot in my XP-100 308W. It has a nose diameter of .301" and the entire nose engraves in the rifling giving a bit of a hard bolt closing. It shoots a bit better 200m groups than the NOE 311365 that has a nose diameter of .305". Due to the shape of the two noses the bigger 311365 will chamber and still be able to unload, the smaller nose 311284 with much more of the nose engraving will pull the bullet if a chambered round is unloaded. Still need to try the 311284 in my 308 rifle and have some cast & ready, just need to get'er done.

The BC of the 311365 is incredible and when sighted in on the 200m ram with iron sights and switching to the 311284 it takes 6 clicks elevation (about 12-14 inches) to get back up on the ram with the same load.

I am so shocked I can't even think of something silly & nuts to say about that. No wonder I never go anywhere near ebay.

A brand new NOE 5 cav work of art for $85 and he paid $202.50 plus shipping for a used Lyman 2 cav. WOW.

It appears that "It's not what you know, it's who you know", and we all know someone that most people don't.

It's said that eBay prices on molds are so high because international buyers are driving the prices. What they don't know is that NOE ships internationally as well.

Just for grins NOE should put one of his more popular 5C out there and see what the market bears for it.

    the 358009 comes to mind.

Terrible idea, can you imagine what would happen with the group buys. One of two things come to mind; swedes prices would rocket, or every group buy would have as many as the 312-247.
