Picked up a new CCW option today: SW Model 6906

Was looking on gunbroker last night for a good deal. Found this gun listed. It was located at a local shop.

SIZE REFERENCE: Here it is next to my Charter Arms .44 Bulldog:

It's a fair amount bigger than my Colt Mustang Pocketlite:

12+1 capacity. Steel slide/alloy frame. Weighs around 22oz unloaded.

I've had a S&W model 59 forever and this gun is pretty much just a stubbed version of that. As an added bonus, this gun can even use the mags from my 59.

IWB?! Looks like someone carried it in their buttcrack. That thing is filthy.

Angry Don't hate on a filthy gun!

I for one LOVE filthy, character- soaked guns, especially at good prices.

It could have easily been an off duty gun owned by a cop who retired or passed away, most widows don't know to clean their man's firearms when disposing of the estate. AND many shops won't bother to detail out a low dollar/ fast turn around sale. I'm an exception to the rule I've observed that most cops don't take very good care of "work tools" (not like white-gloved collectors fawning over safe queens)

My bad for posting pictures of a dirty gun.

Will clean it up and post new pictures later.

For years, I carreid the thinner version of that pistol (mine was the 3913) strapped to my vest under my uniform shirt. I used a rough out IWB to clip it to my vest straps. If I were to carry it today, I would look to Simply Rugged or Milt Sparks for my leather.
Knowledge I take to my grave is wasted.

I prefer to use cartridges born before I was.

Success doesn't make me happy, being happy is what allows me to be successful.
