    .45 long colt

I got 50 speer deepcurl 250gr hp for my old mans 45 judge. but i could not find any load data in any of books. The powders i have for this are hp-38, no#2, red dot, bullseye.

    Thanks, James.

Seven grains of HP-38 will be about the best load with what you have. Although none of the powders you mention are optimum, HP-38 (same as W231) will suffice. Shot from a Judge, you aren't likely to tell the difference with a better powder, anyway. Get real close, point and hope.

Is this the same bullet as the 250 grain Gold Dot hollow point?

I load mine up with Blue Dot for a S&W 625-6 Mt Gun, but like Rocky says, with the Judge and your selection of powder 7.0 of w231/hp38 should be good.
