    mold storage boxes

I lucked up on an item to protect our valuable molds.
The boxes are a perfect size for the mihec molds and probably others. They have positive locking lids, and are stack-able.
The seller gave me permission to offer his email address as a contact for anyone interested.
I'm not involved, except to recommend the product, at a good price. The 20+ that I bought really work great and will keep my molds safe, from now on.

I got some plastic boxes from Staples. Someone on the board here found them and recomended them. They aren't hinged but they are positive locking and they come in 3 or 4 sizes. They are only like 2-4 dollars each depending on the size. Also they come in a variety of colors or clear.

I usually put my molds ... handles and all ... into kitty litter containers and spray them with rust preventative. Have two such containers and they have worked fine for a number of years.

Here's the ones from Staples. Note Mihec mould top left, complete with all extras and lube bottle. Plenty of room without being too big for the job.

Also small desicate packs that come in a variety of packages work real well to keep rust at bay.

Also If you're concerned about the desicate packages being saturated then bake them at 350F for about an hour to "recharge" them.

Just don't let the paper turn brown, that's too much recharging.
