    458 Win Mag

    Has anyone ever chronoed the Lyman 462560 with say 61 or 62 gr of Hodgdon H4895?
    I have Lyman data for it but just wondered what it would actually do.

    Have not shot this bullet but have gotten 1901 fps. with a 510 gr. gc. I have also shot a 710 gr. gc. with 53gr. of IMR 4895 for 1590 fps. Lots of recoil but very accurate. Best load with the 510 is 62 grs. of 3031 for 1980 fps. Killed lots of Bison, elk, & deer. No problem with penetration. The 510 is available from Mount Baldy Bullets.
