It will work with windows 2000, you just need access 2003 or the runtime. The access runtime (2007) that is embedded in the install requires XP or newer.

    Load data program

    Wiljin,
Please help me , I posted in another location and got no answers.
I have reloaders reference on a portable harddrive that I use for all of my reloading info.
I think it is the finest program I have ever used and thank you for all of the hours you spent developing it and adding all the info.
In the inventory column I want to add all of the gear I have (Lee loaders, press, and the rest of the junk on collects) for insurance purposes and just to have a written record of it all.

Now I can build a computer and troubleshoot one but when it comes to messing with programs "No Way"
Is there a safe way to add headings and data to the program that can be explained in two letter words so an old dummy like me can understand it?

Again Thank you for all the work you put in to a fantastic program!!!

There is a readme for vista. Once installed, you have to adjust a couple of permissions due to the new security features of vista.

Wiljen, this is great. Can you search while in the groups? If I am in the molds ref section, can I search a mold instead of paging through all? Or is it there and I am just missing it?
    Thanks,
    Danny

Just found this tool while looking for some CB data for a friend's .30-30. It is working under Windows7 and Office 2007. I did have to make a folder (C:\Test1) and copy the coredata.mdb to it because I couldn't redirect Access 2007 to find it. After that it works as advertised and is the most awesomely complete reference I've ever seen. GREAT JOB! Thank you!

Anyone have this running on a Windows 7 machine? I had it installed and running perfectly on an XP machine but it died on me.
I have the main program and targets up and going but can't get the manuals to load.

    Any help appreciated.

Never mind, I figured it out. Actually, I followed the directions that wiljen put up as text files for Windows 7. If I had followed them properly the first time, I wouldn't have had a problem. Works great, thanks!

I downloaded from the first address posted and my Access is too old. The no Access option took all night to install. Thought it was locked, but no, it was soooooo slow to install on my XP Professional machine. I also got Norton Virus notice which was disconcerting. I ignored that and the program is finally working. No chance to really play with it yet.

Is the second listing of the address different with a different program?.

    Wiljen,

Great Program, thanks for all your Hard work. I Love this multitude of Information. I made some changes to the program to include some of the items that I like to have included. Not being familiar with any programing at all, I was able to deciefer the Code, Tables, Forms, Reports and add the following Items. Its just the way I like it.

In the Inventory Menu the following items are added.
Reloading Dies- Add / Edit / Search
Live Ammo Inventory- Add / Edit / Search
    Primer Inventory- Primer Inventory (Table)
Firearms- Add To Inventory (Blank Form)
    Powder Inventory- Powder Inventory (Table)
Reloading Cost Calc- Fixed, and included costs for New and Reloaded Ammo
Print Inventories- Added Reloading Dies and Caliber Search, Previews and Print
Print Inventories- Added Live Ammo and Cartridge Search, Previews and Print

    In the Reference Section, Added
    Dillion 450-550 Caliber Conversions

    In the Firearms Manuals, Added
Add to Manuals for Each Manual

    In the Targets, Added
Add Targets and Search Targets by Group

Fixed Several Names, Descriptions & Layouts of Tables, Forms & Reports

Thanks for all this great info in one spot. And for allowing Changes and Additions to the Program.

If you have a Zip Program, I can Email the RRv9, then you just have to Replace the file in Prgram File Folder.

    Win 7 Ultimate install

I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on 3 different computers at my home, (yes...I am a gamer, gunsmith, shooter, reloader).
    I Have 2 1TB HDD's in all of them, (non-raid configurations).
I played around with various install methods and found that the fastest access comes from installing everything in [ X:\Test1\ ] and placing a shortcut in my "Desktop Shortcuts" file.
I installed the files and programs straight into the directory, ignoring "Program Files (x86)" and it runs fast and flawlessly.

    Great job on this program!

So, in other words, you simply installed it into a pre-made directory of its own and then short-cutted directly from your desktop? No install issues whatsoever?

I just tried that and it is telling me "Windows can't open this file." "In order to open this file, you must designate which program to open this file with."

The install automatically generated a shortcut icon to my desktop. I am going to try running it directly out of the directory I created for the file - perhaps that might do something different, but I do not see how?
