Thanks guys for the harbor freight bench recommendations. I've been lurking here for a while learning and drooling over everyones stuff. The HF bench worked out great after I screwed it to the wall and to the floor. Its rock solid. My micro size reloading room came with a weird 45 degree angle corner wall which made a longer or wider bench impossible. I fabbed up a strong mount now Im back in business.

Hello Ben, welcome to the site. I can't really answer your question and don't want to seem abrupt, but , this is page 84 of this thread, have you look at the other 83 pages yet for some suggestions.

    benmk19,

were I in your situation I would be looking for what's called a "Kitchen Cart" or mobile island. http://bfads.net/Item/Big-Lots-Black...en-Cart/103798 Looks nice, out of site storage, hardwood top and it's mounted on wheels! They can be found on sale for under $200.00.

i have found that I do not like carpet in my reloading room. If you drop a primer or a small screw that you absolutely HAVE to have, it is very difficult to find. I dropped the set screw for a compensator the other day and it took me *forever* to find it. Plus, do you really want to find out if a primer will fire when it gets vacuumed up and hits the beater brush on a vacuum?

    My small loading room

Dillon 650 for 9mm and 40 cal pistol. Dillon 1050 for 223 and 300 Blackout.
I also have another bench on the opposite wall with a MEC shotshell loader and a single stage RCBS rockchucker II for 300 win mag and 308.
That area is a work in progress.

At some point, you will die, and your wife will sell all your stuff for what you *said* you paid for it.

With regards to gun control in this country, everyone should be asking themselves one question:
What is it that this government feels they need to do, but can't do, unless the citizens of this nation are first disarmed?
(I seriously doubt you can come up with any plausible answers that you will like...)

I married right and over 40 years later I don't have to excuse my preferences in shooting and related subjects. I have already told her not to take any offers of 10's of thousand$ for my stuff. There is much more than that in real value...
