Thanks, I like it the way it's set up.
It's all in what used to be a 2 car garage. Now it's pretty much a no car garage. LOL
The reloading bench hasn't moved in yet but here's the new reloading room and gun repair shop. The insulation started going in last night so it won't be long before the sheetrock guys are called. The end with the worklights on is the gunsmith shop (12x18) and the smaller area will be for reloading and casting (12x12).

Thanks- and welcome to the group! Last night and this afternoon we hung insulation. Bless her heart, SWMBO got out there and helped with the insulation. The sooner my area gets done the sooner I can move the lathe and mill out of her area and build her art studio.

Welcome to the forum enloe and 452460.
452- that is the nicest and smoothest looking mount I have ever seen for a 550.
Very Impressive.

i pulled the old dry wall because it looked like **** and then added severl ourlets throught the walls. cant stand not having enought outlets. the cabinet i got for $50 bucks from Home Depot because one of the door faces was cracked. if you see something like that, make an offer and they will usually take it. then sealed the counter tops with $8 sealer. they had cabinet grade sheets on sale so i used those for the tops and with the seal/stain, it looks great. added some shelfs to the right side of the bench, which was actually my old counter tops from my old bench. i actually have wood from all my previous benches used in this place so kinda keeping the history alive. my dad was down in Texas visiting so i saved a lot of the work till he came down to have some father son work time. only thing needed now is the window AC unit.
i had surgery in Jan. I have been remodeling(rearranging/organizing) my space and i hope to have some pics posted tonight.

A lot of good Ideas here.
This year I moved my reloading and casting setup from the farm to the little machine shop at the house. The loading equipment has to share the building with a medium lathe, smaller mill, press, I did move the valve grinding equipment, Starter Alternator, generator tester and the small metal band saw to the welding shop next door. It is well insulated, heated and cooled. Loading presses are on a HD 6" metal workbench that I picked up for hauling it off. I had to strengthen the legs and weld them together as the bolts were not removing all wobble. I added a 1/4" X 12" piece along the front and it is bolted as well as held by the bolts holding presses and tools and additional bolts along the side away from the front of the bench. I have an extra Herters single stage press, RCBS priming setup, and Luber/sizer that do not stay on the bench. There is a mounting pattern for each of these on the front edge of the bench that consists of 3/8" threaded holes for each tool. You can put cap fastners in the holes when not in use or just leave them open--they do get dirty with trash, lube and "stuff" sometimes when left open.
The drawer system is a card catalog cabinet that my daughters school was placing in the dumpster and I saved it from the trash man--It holds "LOTS" of small parts and pieces. The Dillon 550 replaced my old SDB and I load comfortably from a stool. There is another 6' all steel workbench on the opposite wall of the shop under a window and it has a vice and old kitchen cabinets above for storage of powder, primers, jacketed bullets, ect. The Lee bottom pour pot is resting on a Generator, Alternator, Starter test setup that I moved out of the shop today and I plan on building a HD 4" wide casting bench at stool height. I keep the bulk of Lead inventory in a barn, but have 500 pounds or so resting on the hydraulic press base--makes it steady and vibration proof.
I can gunsmith, clean and tinker on the workbench under the window, but I feel very lucky in that I have a "gun room" in the house. Our kids are all married with children and the grand children still visit, but all live within 45 minutes. We have a bedroom for them when spending the night, but the adult spare room is my gun room. I have a well lit 6" table to clean guns, mount scopes and tinker and my gunsmith tools are in a portable tool cabinet that can be carried to the shop or range if needed. There is a desk for nothing but gun related items and lots of bookcase shelving for gun books and file cabinets for gun stuff.
I do all lead smelting outdoors in front of the overhead door which is adjacent to the machine shop on portable welding/cutting tables. Ran about 500 pounds of WWs and 200 pounds of pure lead a couple of weeks ago. Thank God for Texas weather. Can work outside lots and smelt in the fall/winter/spring and coast in the summer--same thing for Blacksmithing. I am getting old, sorry and glad I don't have to work every day in all sorts of conditions.
It is all a work in progess, but I am fortunate in that my wife supports my hobbies and interests and lets my room smell like No 9. I build and add stuff as I get brain storms and sometimes building stuff is part of the fun.
Sorry, somehow my fumble fingers double posted the pictures.

Nice set up Bear.
