Sorry Matt. Thanks for pointing it out. I think I've fixed it now.

Six months ago I had three eight foot long 96"x32" reloading benches in my reloading room. In April a Cape Buffalo, a Kudu, an Oryx, a Waterbuck, and a Caracal came to live here. We took all the benches out, and put everything in boxes. Then we raised the front nine feet of the roof in my fourteen by twenty-one foot room to twelve and a half feet, painted, laid carpet, and started hanging animal head & shoulder mounts. I now have one sixty-inch bench, and still have six SDB's, two 550B's, an A4 and a Hornady 366.

I took a page from Pat Marlin's book and made portable plates (sixteen inch lengths of two by twelve) bolted a press to each one, and then drilled a pair of holes in my two inch thick reloading bench. 7/16ths inch bolts hold it down. So far, no issues...

Every time I go in and unpack a box or two it's like Christmas or my Birthday.

Pictures man ... we need pictures ... I want to see those mounts. Sounds like you solved your problem.

    Loading bench photo.

Here is mine. Check out the reservoir on the homemade powder measure near the Lyman Tru-line press. From my days as a starving machinist with more time than money on my hands.

funny bench made fr table saw and file cabinet

Guys, OK I'll bite. Here is the first set up I did; one dillon 550 and one Lee Progressive 1000.
(if this uploads I will take a pic of the room now).
Note I used my old table saw as a base, good and heavy. Besides who cares about woodwork now that I reload

Here it is today; 2 dillons, a RCBS jr, a 20# melting pot etc

loads of fun. Also I raised the workbench (a/k/a table saw) to a good height.

Every time I feel like I'm getting out of control with my toys, I come back to this thread. I always leave here feeling inadequate. Thanks for reassuring me that I (and a buddy or 2) are not alone in the world!

Like another I do not feel like some kind of nut because of all my goodies stacked around. Have an old "bankers desk" ('bout 300 lbs and 4' wide X 6' long) for the bench. Old kitchen cabinets stacked every where and a set of home made shelves front center for the dies, boolits/bullets, manuals, and all the other stuff/tools right at arms reach. Sure is a far cry from moma's table--and the fussing over dropped primers--she just had no sense of humor over those--lol.
