    July 4th Springfield day.

    I took the '03 out today to warm it up with 60 rounds. When I got there, the only other guy there had a high number Springfield Armory '03 Mk I. Never seen him before and he was shooting cast to boot.

    I suggested to set his peep at 500 yd to start as he was at 800. He immediately put 3 dead center with a two inch group at 100yds. He using the LEE 200 gr and me the Lyman 314299. Needless to say we both chatted between strings about how wonderful the Krags and '03's shoot cast.

    A great 4th so far as well as talking with my son at Ft. Benning.

    It was a good day around here also. Not as good as an 03 day (wish I had one!) mind you but good. I shot my .50 Renegade Flinter and my Savage 110 ML. In fact it was such a good day that I am going to shoot my TC .58 Firehawk in a little while. Life is good. Thank the Lord.
