Cool Well, lookee what I came across....

I think I made another casting addict the other day. This friend wanted to see how it was done. I told him we'd do better than that, he could make some boolits with my equipment. He wanted some 38 WCs, so by the time he was done, he had near 200, and we promptly took them to the tumble lube station and lubed 'em up.
So today I invited him over to watch/help me smelt WWs. He showed up with these...

Said I should just use 'em, as he had no need of 'em. His uncle was a caster long ago, and these were surplus from his estate.
I tried to convince him he should have some of 'em in case he starts casting a GC design, but he wouldn't have it. So we settled on if and when he needs some I'm sure to have some left over.
I already have over 1000 .44 checks in Hornady cardboard boxes.
I've got some .30s too, but not so many.
So who else has acquired some old shootin' goodies? Got a pic?

Great to have friends like that. You never know what you come up with when somebody new gets involved or interrested in our hobby.

How about some powder to go with those gas checks, SR 4759 made by Du Pont in the tin!
