OL Deuce it's not mine. Don Brown an old drag racer purchased it new. He died a year or so back. His family sold it a couple weeks back. Could have had it for 30 grand.

I did feel good sitting in it though.

I guess I will play. This is my daily driver:

I bought this just over a year ago after replacing the rear diff in my wife's suburban. The failure was blamed on too many overloaded runs of lead. I did load it with about 2000-3000 lbs a couple times each year, but I am not sure I caused the diff failure.

But I am sure a 1 ton Ram wont' have an issue.

I don't think I posted this here before but my current project is this shortbed 1972 Chevy Cheyenne Super which came loaded with factory options including the 402 big block, automatic transmission, PS, PB, A/C, and tilt steering column. The original color combo was Tangier orange with a white roof (code 546) but was repainted in the Deluxe color scheme (code 594) when it was rebuilt. I bought it a few years ago from a guy in Virginia who he called it his ice cream truck because he used it for cruise-ins at the local Dairy Queen. My wife still swears she saw him cry a little the day I picked it up and since then the truck has affectionately been known as The Beast.

Unfortunately the original motor is gone but it has a 400 small block with long tube headers and Flowmaster dual exhaust. It has a 2/4 drop kit and since buying the truck I have added new wheels and tires, valve covers, plug wires/looms, a bluetooth radio with speakers, new chrome A/C vents, aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauges, new locks, fuel line, refinished the original emblems, repaired the inner front fenders, rewired the entire front end, added an electric fan, swapped in an original tachometer gauge cluster and some other stuff.

This truck is mostly a garage queen so about the only thing it ever hauls is a**. My wife refuses to ride in it until I fix the air conditioning system so that is the next big project. I am also looking for a donor bed to replace the bed floor which is rusted through in several places. Eventually I need to recover the seat with the correct houndstooth pattern. At this point my biggest limitation is money but we all know how that goes.

For fun here are a few photos of my other truck, a 2014 Silverado LTZ 4x4 in rainforest green metallic. This is my daily driver and has a 3" lift kit so dwarfs the lowered '72 Cheyenne lol.

    Keep moving forward!

Just bought this the other day. Just in time to put it in the garage for the winter, but that’s why I got it so cheap.

1979 Vette I bought last June. Needs work and TLC but she runs and drives. Neglected and abused by previous owners, not show quality but want to drive and tinker with. I figure I saved it from doom and slowly bringing it back to something special.

This is my 1994 Ford F-350 5.8L square body 4x4. Hard to find a four door with a full eight foot bed in it these days. Lots of new parts and maint needed from all those who owned it before and did not bother to take care of it as required. But it is a project ongoing and I am having fun getting it back in the shape it should be in. Use it for hunting, hauling firewood and the weekly loads of stuff from Wally world too.

I had a 59 rag top with red leather back in 1969, cost me 400 bucks, drove it for one summer, got rid of it cause I could not keep second gear in the tranny. Boy, wish I had kept it now huh. I know what you mean about previous owners not taking care of their rides, should be a law against it. lol

Not yet, Thanksgiving week slowing things down. Was supposed to be towed to the body shop yesterday (Terry Lebonte). Haven't verified that yet. Waiting till next week to get the rental car as insurance only pays for it for 30 days and I knew this week I wouldn't really need it and would be a waste. I'll be Deer hunting after today till the end of the weekend, have some payback on order...

    We are guessing between $5-8K
