I adopted a new toy last month. The '96 Impala SS went to a new home.
I've wanted one of these since I was about 15 or so. Patience is a virtue right?

Usually the stripes are silver or gray but in the right light sometimes blueish.

The removeable roof panel is over rated. (not hair friendly)

    Oh yes,.............it's a '13 60th Anniversary edition Grand Sport

Don't have a Harley, or a hotrod any more, but these run pretty good at nearly 400 HP. and a 4.30 rear ratio...Do miss having a Harley though..

It is...a 19 gal fuel cell installed under the bed and braced from impact on 4 sides. Cap is polished stainless and pop's up and back down...

Seeing as I only seen 1 other old Impala in the thread I'd add mine, not as old as the white 63 but it's old for todays standards.
My dad and I put this together after I graduated college. My parents owned it since 1983. It had a ton of miles and needed lots of work. Here is my 1976 Impala Custom. The last of the big ones.

A Zuke farm. Those are very capable trail rigs.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

My 88 FLT after the rebuild do to a garage fire the previous owner had. Pictures taken in her first and most likely only bike show. It now has a dual Thunder Header as the two into one has snapped on me.

I had to sell it when I took a 6 figure pay cut out of jealousy and power trip of others. I will get another one in a year or so I hope. I still have all of the fishing stuff. LOTS of stuff. When I cleaned it out I had 25 rod and reels in it. One for dang near any application I needed. I spent quite a bit of time on the water in that rig and it even had satellite stereo. The first Christmas Day I had it I was on South Holston Lake in TN and was running 66 mph thru light snow. I changed out the CPM on the motor from 250 to 350 and it would run in the low 70's. I wore a helmet if running over 60 because my eyes would water.

I was until selling the boat. Once everything settles down I plan on getting another one just not as expensive.

I've never fished South Holston. Is that a white bass lake?

I have never caught a white bass out of there but I am sure there are some there. I hear it is a killer smallmouth lake. Somebody caught a 9 lber a few years ago fishing docks. I personally have never had good luck there. Also, there have been some vehicle break in problems at one of the main ramps. Since it is so far out in the county the SO doesn't patrol out that way much and the mongrels know it. The lake is very deep and clear. I have seen 202 ft depth at one spot on the south end of the lake.
