    Talking Lube Gas check material

I have found if I lightly coat both sides of my aluminum flashing with Turtle Wax (dries to a light film)
and then cut my strips, the checks pop out of my sizing die flawlessly. Certainly, there are other solutions
but this one won't contaminate powder or primer. THat wax dries white and a can of Turtle wax will last me
a life time for this purpose. I use it for cars so its not like the stuff sits just for this mission but if it did, one can
is many life times of supply.

    Works for me.

I've also used One-Shot with similar results.

    Hi milprileb
You advised me a while back on how you lubed your aluminum. I have tried it out and found it to be the best solution for me. I have use JPW and Simonize car wax with good results.
As anyone who has tried to lube the aluminum knows, its the stickiness of the lube that trips you up. Most lube types like oil on the aluminum will not let the gas checks fall away from the dies. The wax idea is first rate. The guys using long strips or a rolled up strip can easily apply the wax with a cloth just before the punching out.

The other fact , now this will grab attention as it always does: It not only works (small attention getter)
    but its CHEAP.

There, no one argues when something is CHEAP. Trumps any argument !
