Mine came in today. Already cleaned, heated and cast with. Comes out to .4545" with my alloy, but will probably grow a bit.
Swede, didn't think it could happen, but it seems your moulds are getting BETTER!!!
Rockrat beat me Just came out of the cellar after 4-500 cast Drops at .455 and 169-170gr
Bullets just fall out of the cavities Beautiful head All I got to do is load some now

I already cast & sized about 500 or so of them. Definitely got to get the mold hot to get good fill. Now my only issue is that the seater plug in my Dillon dies has way to big of a nose recess, and it wants to seat the boolit crooked Can't wait to be able to shoot these, though to be honest I can't complain about the Lee 200Gr SWC's from the 6 cav mold, they shoot really nice
Doc65,
I thought someone on this site was making replacement seater plugs for the Dillon "New Dynamic" .45acp dies that was.. kinda hollow?.. and seated SWC boolits by the shoulder and not the nose..
I think the Hornady "New Dimension" seater die with its guide sleeve may be another choice.
One could try ordering another .45acp seater plug insert for their seating die .. $?..and try hollowing it out so it seats the boolit by the shoulder. (I don't know if this will truly work for all brands. It's just an idea)

Cranked mine up this afternoon also. Hard to think this drops such nice boolits almost right out of the box (washed, pre-heated) with no strain. With my alloy it is dropping 166-167 gr and seems to be a consistant .454. So far as the Hornidy die Johnny is refrerring to, I checked mine and it will set on the sholder, but all they have available that I can find in the New Deminsion series II is a roll crimp. They list a taper crimp, but no one has it that I can find. I'm waiting on a taper crimp die and will use the Hornidy to seat the boolet to depth, then crimp. Really a nice mould, glad I got in on the GB. Oh, and worth the wait.
Recieved mine today !! BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!! Thanks Coltman
Mine was waiting for me at the house last night. Looks great, can't wait to use it!

Got mine today. Cast 50 or 60 up. As per usual, boolits just rain out of the mold, and are they ever purdy. Can't wait to try them on paper. I was thinking 4.0 grains of Bullseye for a start.
