Hey Dog,

New to the site and rookie boolit caster.

Just got back from the sand-box and want to start casting boolits for my new 1895 CB 26" brl. I don't know if its a microgroove or not. It is made in 2009 and has the JM stamp so its made by Marlin. I have tried to order a slug kit to find out but they are on back-order from midway.

I know i want one of your
NOE 460 350Gr. RF (RD) mold. w/HP
any cavity # will do.

Any ideas or EXP with this make of gun?

most likely a ballard rifled gun being a 2009. come over to marlinowners.com and check us out. a wonderful wealth of marlin knowledge. now for slugging your barrel you dont need a fancy kit. you can get round balls slightly larger than .460 from many stores or use a lead egg sinker slightly larger than the bore. i have an old wood black powder ram rod i use but u could use a wooden dowel from a hardware store. place the egg sinker over the bore (i spray it with a little oil first) put a piece of wood over it and tap down with a soft hammer. then drive through nice and easy with the dowel and soft hammer. no need for a slugging kit. if you cant find what you need go check out the store at beartooth bullets.

i would like a rg4 with 2 GC and 2 PB. I don't own any NOE bullet moulds are the HP pins reversibal like Mihec's?

for a refresher som e info on the mold:

Lee 6 cav handles fit this mold
Blammers checks and the hornady checks both work fine with these boolits.
RG molds come with both hp and flat point pins
