It reminds me of that Poppa Smurf parody set to James Brown's music,I have enough Ben's Red to last a long time by the time I run out of it he will have all the kinks worked out.

I've been using Ben's Red for years now and have zero complaints. Flows well in the lubrisizer, leave the barrels clean. accuracy is good (when I do my part). Stores for a long time in the freezer. And, being the cheap 'ol guy that I am, it fits in the wallet, too.

    Fellows,

I made one batch of Ben's Blue ( on a whim..... ) never to make anymore.

Ben's Red has far exceeded any of my expectations. There is no need for me to experiment and search for another lube.

I have used Ben's Red for thousands of rifle and pistol rounds with no leading. In fact I just make sure that the chamber is clean and forget about the bore nothing to clean so why go through the motions.

I once read that excessive and improper cleaning of rifle barrels has ruined more barrels than shooting ever has.

    Possible but I can't say.
So far, the Johnson's paste wax has been very plentiful.

I doubt that you'll have any problems at all finding it.

Ace Hardware stocks JPW. Found some when I was out on a job and had to get some stuff from the local Ace hardware where I was at. I bought all they had, Got plenty now.

You might have been thinking of SC Johnson Liquid Floor Wax. It is no longer on the market.

For us europeans Ben's Red is Unobtanium since JPW is not exported to some countries. I have long been asking for someone to try to find how to duplicate the JPW using carnauba flakes and other hardware store items.
Shoot from a rest at 25/50/100 yards, then post your groupings. That is the only way to compare accuracy results.
