    NOE 22-055 FN 55gr Arrived!

I just got home, and checked the USPS website to see where my mold was . . . as I had been on the road all week . . . Said it was delivered . . . my wife said, "NO!"

We caught the mail lady as she was arriving today . . . ended up she put our mail that day in the neighbors box, luckily they were on vacation . . . I got my mold!

Anybody else cast any up yet?

I cast a few with the little time I have had since it was delivered. I haven't gone past putting some gas checks on to check fit. GC fit was perfect. Weight was a little heavy at 60gr in my alloy.
You are going to LOVE that 10 cav. I have one in the 225107 and really like it.

    Wow, 10 cavity!!!!

Mine is the silly (by comparison) 6 cavity. I have yet to even put handles on it, although I pick it up and kiss it just about every day.

My FreeChex III just arrived, and will be making some gas checks for it, and then will put tjhe ten other projects aside to shoot some of these beauties.

Certainly the smallest bullets I will be casting.

I bought one of the extra's of this GB, a 5 cav.
    I cast with it monday.
I took me a while to get the mold up to temp.
I need to get my Hotplate setup so I can preheat.
after at least 150 boolits, they finally started to be wrinkle free.
using WW alloy sweetened with a little Tin.
the measured 0.2265 and 60.6 grains consistantly.

    Shawn,

That's a very nice portable shooting bench you have there.

Hello all. I just picked up this mold from the NOE site. I thought I'd crack it up to the top to see if anyone else had stories about this little guy. I was recently asked to go coyote hunting with a friend and realized I didn't have an appropriate rifle to do so... so I went and picked up a Savage 22-250. Then I thought I'd get a mold for it right away and decided on this one.

Any new stories to pass on to a new owner??? (Granted it may be awhile for me to "use" them as I'm finding the gas checks tough to come by...

    Thanks. -Brad
