Have we ever done a 200gr .40 Cal WFN?

This style is very popular with 10mm guys and I'd love a brass 4 cavity in it so I was wondering if we have ever run a Group Buy on one?
    Thanks

    Something to look at.

If this would work, can do it with the tooling we have so it would be a SGB (small group buy)
Only five orders to get it on the scheduale. And can do brass or aluminum.
It would be PB only no GC and we can do RG's.

Would RG's be available and, if so, gotta pic of how it would look?

Sounds like a deal to me.

Although, I wonder about that heavy a boolet. Seems to me we would be duplicating the medium weights in a 45 acp.

    just curious...

I think the reason the 200gr is so popular is that we can push it harder in 10mm than we can in 45 and with the better sectional density it penetrates better and makes a heck of a hunting bullet.

That said I'll honcho this one if we think we have enough.

Beautiful design! I am with Harley..a 4 cavity (brass) would be my choice as well. What would be the final price on this, considering it will most likely be a Small Group Buy?

I believe I want two, one plain and one rg, Hey Swede since we are doing this one any chance of doing a pointy mold in .40 cal as a small group buy?

Thanks Swede. That is hilarious. Suddenly I have the music in my head from the Looney Tunes cartoons that was played when they had the complicated assembly line machinery working.

If at all possible I'd love to get a mold that was partially Rube Goldburg. I'd love to get both hollow points and solid. But I don't think I can justify two molds.

One of the nice things about RG molds is that they come with hollow point pins and pins to cast flat points. You can use the same mold to cast both.

Now that I look closely at the parts in Swede's picture I can see both sets of pins. What a great setup. The more I look at Swede's work the more I can tell that this mold is a good investment. I think I will splurge the extra to get it in brass.

How much are we looking at for either? I might be interested. Thanks!
