    need boolets/ mould lite .512

Help! I have picked up a 500 BPE double, and need a lite weight .512 boolet! Lite as in 300- 350 gr. Will need a mould, but would like to try a few to be sure--. Does anyone make such a mould, other than the Lyman one for 56-50 Spencer? Any production in a lighter weight?
    Thanks, Doug

We have a mold in iventory designed for the 500 BPE. I think it is a 340gn PB. We tried to copy as close as we could an original design/weight for the cartridge.

Sorry about the phone thingy. I asked my wife and she said she answered with a hello several times but got no response so she hung up.
Yes we do also have a very old Ideal mold that I think was for the 50/95 Win that will go 300gn in very soft alloy. In WW alloy it will be under 300gn'
I saw you email just a minute ago and will answer it shortly

    I had a 500BPE double

all the research I has says try 340gr first as that was the weight the "Express" rifles were regulated with.

I believe lyman has one pretty much what you need if you want to cast your own. the 515139 mould.
