    Bob,

I do have everything in stock and ready to assemble.

The sizing die does nothing more then size the .316 5.7 brass down to .302ish for 30 caliber jacket use. It would also size down "allready formed" 5/16 copper tubing jackets but it will not make the jackets from copper tubing. That requires a sepperate additional die.

My dies will work in any press that accepts shell holder type base punhes or I can supply a threaded addapter for teh wallnut hill press to accept threaded base punches. The wallnut hill ram has a 7/8-14 (standard reloading die) thread correct? The only thing that concerns me is how to attach an automatic ejection system. Actually I know exactly how I would do it just so long as it is not in the way. I would provide a 7/8-14 die that will hold the threaded base punches as well as hold the ejector on. I highly recomend some sort of ejector system to save damage to the small .095 meplat nose of the bullets. I'm sure you could eject them the same way you do with ch dies via hammer or mallet but I don't recomend it.

    Cost is as follows.

$475 custom BTSniper 30 cal two die set
    $100 sizing die
$25 7/8-14 threaded addapter for use of threaded base punches to work with wallnut hill press
$125 ejector (optional but highly recomended!)

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help.

    Thanks

    Brian

BT - The Walnut Hill ram is threaded 7/8x14 and the top is bushed to 7/8x14. It is designed just like ANeat's press. They are pictured side by side in his post. An ejector similar to one that would work on his should work on the Walnut Hill.

So we could hook an ejector up like this? http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...hlight=upnorth

My ejector works a bit different then corbin or aneat's since I designed my dies to eject from the top rather then the bottom.

    What dameter is the ram?

Sorry for the 20 questions I just want to make sure we are on the same page.

I just put my fancy Frankford Arsenal electronic calpers on the Walnut Hill ram and got 1.255. I guess that makes it 1¼.

    Hello BT,
I've been reloading for years and thinking about casting for some time liked the idea of swaging but only option I used to read about was corbins website, Geez! Wish I had nth own equipment id give it a go at making my own, I have a little machinist background. All that said I'm interested in your product but with no experience I have several questions.
    1. Whats the difference between your dies and the improved ones
    2. Can I use one die but different amounts of material (jacket and lead) to obtain different weights
    3. Does the nose forming die affect shape of ogive or is that a separate die?
Sure there are more, would be interested in a detailed pic description if what die does what and what die nose punch combo does what, would help in ordering and seeing what is needed to make a certain bullet type.

    Thanks,
    45acp with absolute certainty, 45-70, and possibly 223, 8mm, and 40/10mm if I go to a 40 super.

I'll be happy to get you set up with all you need. Just say when. My current dilevery time is running about 6-10 weeks as I catch up on back orders. Possibly a lot sooner with the 40/10mm dies as I try to keep them in stock ready to ship.

    Hello BT,

Do you have a set for .357 caliber in stock?- I'm keen to try to swage hollow base non-jacketed wadcutter/semi wadcutter.

I'm in the UK, will be using it for target shooting here.

    Cheers.

    Jon

Your funds are received. I need to finish up some out standing orders that are ahead of you first. I got 2 44 cal dies to put togehter, 4 or 5 sets of 45, then I'll be working on some 30 cals with a couple 30 cal orders ahead of you first. Also have a few other orders of various dies for customers waiting so I have plenty of work to get to.

It will be a few weeks for me to get to your 30 cal die but I'll do my best.

    Thanks
