I DID IT!

All 22 cal orders that where in the books as of a couple days ago are complete and either shipped or ready to ship! That was a lot of 22 cal orders I have taken over the last few years, I would have to count to be sure but I suspect nearly 50 orders worth, maybe more!

Now to complete the rest of the orders on my list and start building more inventory!

Yep! I got lots of plans for some very good R&D projects. Got a few of them being tested right now matter of fact. R&D is fun for sure but can't spend much time on new stuff till I get orders shipped.

There will certainly be plenty of new products and calibers dies coming out next year.

"one of the best" ????? ........ well I'll stay humble and simply comment that I continue to learn everyday and will continue to improve upon everything I offer now and in the future I'm actually getting to the point where I better start writing more of my secrets down as I fear one day I'll pick up a bullet I made way back when and wonder "just how did I do that" .... don't worry yet, I'm still only a young 38 and have many more year to learn and forget

Received my latest shipment of dies from nitride today. They look great as always. Got a bit of work to do cleaning and polishing them. I expect the next be shipment rush to come first thing into the new year, just a few weeks away, got a bit of family Christmas time to attend to. Shipping during the Christmas rush isn't much fun, just waiting on the thousands of dollars worth of this shipment to and from Nitride processing was very stressful for me, all those dies, all that income, my reputation all in the hands of those I have no control over during shipping.

In the mean time I have cleaned and reorganized the shop after the 22 cal rush, cast a bunch of cores for 6mm, 6.5mm and 30 cal, cleaning/annealing brass and jackets, basically getting all the small stuff ready for the next big rush and shipments of the final dies on my back order list. Then I'll be starting the process all over again machining new dies to rebuild inventory with much sorter wait times my goal for 2015.

I'll keep everyone posted and updated. Good shooting and happy holidays!

I purchased one of the first .224 cal. die sets that Brian made and have made thousands of bullets with them. I absolutely love my die set! Last week I stuck my first bullet and was unable to remove it. Brian asked me to send it back to him. Not only did he remove the stuck bullet, but he upgraded my die set with his new style of ejector pin and his stuck case removal tools. He also included a diagram with the proper measurements to adjust my die if it is necessary in the future. The goal is to leave it set just as it is. I also, have his .40 cal set and am about to receive a .30 cal. set. He also made me a threaded ram for my RCBS press and adapters to use his dies on my Walnut Hill press. I have been very pleased with everything that I have purchased from Brian over the years, and by his customer service!

Now I can start making bullets again before my supply gets low.

This thread makes me depressed knowing I will not be able to afford swage dies for a looong time. One semester of college left, and then onto finding a good job, then saving up, then ill finally be able to get some swage dies to make some .40sw and 223 bullets.
Just gotta keep chugging through. I feel like Ive been in school for ages. Ill be turning 27 right before I graduate this may.

Got three quick orders shipped out today.

Past month was very busy making bullets and prepping for the 50 cal competition shoot in which my bullets won several awards, I'm now back to work machining new dies to get ready to ship to heat treat. Been working on these dies for a while now and will have a few hundred dies ready to send to heat treat in the next 4-8 weeks. Once a year I set aside a block of time to do a large batch of machine work, and that time is now so I'll be pretty busy at the lathe for the next few weeks.

I've gotten a few PMs and emails inquiring about a set of dies. I'll get back to all of them as soon as I can. With this latest batch of dies I'm working on I expect to be able to fill any caliber die order one is looking for from 17-500 cal by the end of the year so if you have contacted me for a set of dies, hang tight, I'll have a lot ready very soon.

478 dies heading to heat treat tomorrow! A lot of work in a hot shop over the last few weeks covered in machine oil and sharp metal chips, I'll be pulling slivers out of my hands for a few more days to come for sure. Half of all the machine work is done to these dies, after it is heat treated I will machine the bullet cavities then send in to be Nitride processed. I expect to have several dies in many, if not all, the calibers I offer ready in a few months time. If you have contacted me inquiring about a set of dies, or are currently waiting on a set, I have been busy working on getting these dies ready to fill your requests and will have them ready very soon.

By having this many dies half finished and already heat treated it is my goal to reduce wait times. If I don't have a particular caliber already machined and ready all I have to do is grab one of these half finished dies and simple bore the caliber bullet cavity requested then send it off to Nitride, this should cut wait times down considerably.
