To get to a 45 ACP bullet that is in the 200-230 grain range, it does need to get cut down.

a 40 case full of core will make 240-250 gr bullets depending on hollow point or not.

Four years ago I was able to supply all my shooting needs by making my own. Everyday since then the rewards of making my own bullets has only gotten better as I continue to improve and expand the number of calibers in my swage die inventory.

What challenges will we face in the next four years as we attempt to finance and enjoy our shooting hobbies?

I don't know, but what better time to take control and break free from those that attempt to regulate our shooting needs and supplies.

If you haven't experienced the freedom of making your own bullets or reloading your own ammo, well........... there is no better time then now to learn.

For those of you that do swage and reload your own, I say....

    GOOD SHOOTING AND SWAGE ON!

    I echo your sentiments!

Between casting, swaging, and an inventory of parts, my ability to assemble range ammo is virtually unlimited. No matter what the coming times will bring, I am all set. And, confident that my projectiles are the finest that they could be. Thank you, Brian, for making that a reality. I look forward to seeing the remainder of my sets as time allows.

I'm very interested in a die set for turning .40 brass into .45 hollowpoints, I went through this whole thread and couldn't find (though I may have missed it) the price of such a kit.

Turns out I have a new design for the 45 finished up and I'm making new dies at present time.

This new design has a smaller .250 meplat vs. previous Ch dies with .312 damater meplat.

I still have 10 of the 45 cal CH core seat dies without the matching point form die so that leaves you customers an option.

$425 for a 45 cal set with a BTSniper custom point form die with CH core seat die

    or

$475 custom BTSniper 45 cal 2 die matching set.

    $10 S&H

    Recomended optional equipment

$175 for universal die with case prep mandrel and XTP notch punch

Only difference is that the CH core seat die has slightly larger knurling to it.

I'll start a new thread soon with pics of the newly desinged 45 cal bullet

Send me a PM for further details. I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Good Shooting and Swage On!

Are you setup for making dies to produce heeled bullets? I need a bullet that's got a 0.429" heel with a 0.452" body. The bullet will be loaded into a 44 Colt case and fired thru a .45-cal barrel.

Not to take anything business away from Brian, but that would much easier to do with a lead bullet & mold.

I for one am glad to see you stepping up and providing a nice product to the shooting public.

    Question:

Are all of your items available as separate items?

For example could a person order a mold and a lee cast press conversion without ordering an entire kit/set?

    Thanks.

Yes anything and everything is available sepperate. The only exception at the moment is the 22 cal point form die which is only availble in the package set.

I'll be updating page one of this thread very soon to make it a bit easier to figure out products and prices. Still working on website. Everything has taken me a while to get this business perfected and up and runing but as of last week BTSniper is now officially BTSniper LLC. !!!!!

Lots of new dies and tools to come.

    Hi guys,

believe it or not 5.7 is prohibited in Belgium (the country that makes the FN 5.7).
So no 5.7 brass available to make .308.
    any other suggestions perhaps?

I'm especially looking to create a bullet for the .408 Chey Tac to practice on smaller distances.
All suggestions on that are welcome.

    Thanks

223 rem for both the 30 and 408 might be a great choice. 30 carbine. The 9mm will of course make a perfect .400 bullet but might be a bit short for good long range bulelts. Might make good plinkers or even the decent bullets I shoot at 225 grains out of my 40-308 and 400 BTS mag.

Derimmed 38 SPC brass for the 408? Or even the .357 mag. The possibilities are endless.

These are just a few of teh top of my head.

you's have to draw down the 30 carbine about .050 for a 308 jaxket, but the 357 or the 223 could make some pretty decent 408 bullets.

    HI BT,

I would like to buy your jacket making dies for 30 cal. I'm planning to make jackets for 30M1 carbine and 308 Winchester out of copper tubing.

Is the set complete for the above calibers? What would you suggest? How do I pay you? Tnx.

Updated available calibers and tools that I have to offer in post #1.

    2013 prices are in effect.

I am offering a sale of 10% off all my tools and dies on all purchases made and paid in full before end of year. See post #1 for all the details.

Not to worry if you contacted me today or previous to today's date regarding purchase of any of my products. I will offer you the lower of either 2012 prices or the current offer of 10% off 2013 prices so long as your order is placed and paid in full before end of year.

    Good shooting and swage on!
