Anyone have a remington model 5

I picked up a remington model 5 17hmr today and have been looking for extra mags with no luck. Anyone know where to find mags or scope bases. Not much out there for this model that I find.

Good luck!! I bought one in 22lr about six months ago and haven't been able to find spare magazines. These are nice rifles but I believe the springs in the magazine and trigger were designed for the suspension of a gravel truck. The spring in my magazine is so heavy that it is actually painful to load the verdamnt thing. Let us know if you find a source of supply. Neil

The barrel and action are manufactured in Serbia by The Zastava Arms Company, and the rifle is assembled in the United States with a laminated wood stock. Charles Daly also imported the rifle. Check over at RimfireCentral.com addition info.

I have one of the first imported into this country. My rifle is stamped CZ model 99.
It is pre Charles Daily and Rem.
It is a great and extremely accurate rifle.

Cabelas has them. They're under EAA Factory Mags. If you search for "Model 5", they'll come up or you can go directly here: http://www.cabelas.com/product/EAA-F...h-All+Products
