If you check Widners they have Prvi for .50 cents a round, and its boxer primed. I know its more money but your time is worth somthing.

well this thread had me curios so i tried hydralic decapping yesterday , I had 5 berdan primed brass for my 7.62x54 not enough to do much with so they got donated to the experiment nothing fancy yet just a piece of 5/16ths round stock a nut to set the case on to give the primer a place to go and a 3 lbs ball peen hammer . the first 2 went so easy I was shocked . the last 3 went like i had always heard hydralic decapping goes lousy , I sure wish I new what I did right on the first 2 , I see some further experimentation with this later

I love tinkering around with reloading and casting stuff, but even this tried my patience beyond end. Think what made it worse was KNOWING I could pick up the phone and order a couple hundred cases of 7.62x39 brass and they would be here before I finished depriming even ten cases.

Also, it was cheaper to buy the boxer brass than it was to keep looking for all the tools I threw across the shop in frustration.
