I'll take a 3 cavity, drill for probe. What are the chances that you'll do the 55 grain as well?

How do you lube this boolit? Do you lube all the grooves, and if so, in a lubrisizer, do you get lube coming out around the top narrow band?

Or, do you only lube the grooves below the neck, or do you just pan lube them?

    Al;,
Would it be possible to make the 2nd driving band from the bottom .225 instead of .223, that way, when sizing .225, lube won't leak past the .223 band.
The alternative will be to tumble lube them in the 45/45/10 mix. and I think that will be way to much lube for 1700-1850 FPS , maybe, maybe not ??

I have been lubing the SAECO #315 tapered bullet with my SAECO sizer. Just don't try to put a lot of pressure on the lube and they come out good for me. I have been using Bull Shops NASA lube which does not require heat to flow.

Sounds good to me. I assumed the extra groove sticking out past the neck was for more lube for high velocity.

I lube only the first two and shoot it in my 22-250's at 2100.Due to the taper it really gets out into the throat and engraves nicely.

these are the last few groups shot with the Eagan and a Savage 12 22-250(before i sold the gun) and 13.5 Bartlett 4759 "clone" surplus powder.Smallest is .204 and best group i ever shot with cast in any caliber.
