Look at the bottom photo and just imagine the pins flipped.

Can one get the 5 sided pins only instead of the round ones?

    TH,

I bought the Cramer HP version the last time you ran this buy. I'm expecting delivery in the next few weeks. It sounds like the solid will be a RF profile. It should cast faster than reversing the pins in the Cramer mould.

I can hear wedding bells. A new Ruger 1911 and one of these beauties!.
Now what diameter? I can't slug it cos I don't have it - yet. I'd rather not size excessivley. What do you think?

firewalkerd1, I can put a note on the list if you want. the round pins are the standard, the 5 sided pins are an extra cost. We'll see what Miha can do. I wouldn't expect it to be a problem. The round pins are nice too, I use mine all the time.

    Tony,

The solid mold will certainly cast faster than the HP version with flipped pins. It's still a nice option to have that ability. Especially for people that can't buy two molds.

I like shooting the HP version because it saves a little lead each time, (almost 10%) and I can push them a little faster which works for what I'm doing.

Flintlockrecord, You've been added to the list in post #1. Welcome.

I think you'll be the only person in NZ with this mold.... And you'll love it.

rollmyown, I can't answer that for you. Most of the Miha .45 molds I have are .452" and they work great, especially in 1911's. If you don't want to size a great deal go with the .452", should work great for most alloys.

Shamelessly borrowing Miha's latest photos of this mold... And no, yours aren't ready yet, these are from the last run of molds. Yours will look similar.

OK I'll take a 4 cavity .452 HP, round pins only,
Here is a question, is it possible to get a blank set of pins UNassembled, that is with the guide pins but not screwed together????
    Thanks
    Paul G.

dragonrider, I'm sure you could work something out with Miha. Please contact him directly for anything outside of the norms of this buy. If we start making it too complicated at this end we'll just have a wreck.

I added you with round pins only. Let Miha know what you want with the spare set of pins.

I need your coded email address for the list, otherwise you won't get notified.

What would the diameter be of the dropped .452" and the .454" bullets?
