Bump to the top. We need to keep more 25-20s shooting. I'll be shooting mine in a peep sighted Savage 23B.

I am really on the fence on this one. If I knew it would feed in my AR I'd get a GC one for sure.

I just don't know. Anyone have a boolit with a similar nose I could 'test' in my AR for feeding?

Pretty sure the nose on this one is the same as Ranch Dog 25-20 mold - only change is lube groove configurartion and diameter of .260. Not sure where the crimp groove will put you.

How well will this bullet design, and crimp groove placement , work in the older 1894 Marlins ? Anyone have experience with them they could share ? I'd like to try this but don't now much about crimp groove placement as far as COAL when finished--I'm a newbie--sorry.

I use the Ranch Dog design in two original Marlin 1894 rifles chambered for 25-20. It feeds and shoots just fine in my rifles. This NOE is based on the RD design. I am ordering a plain base NOE mold as I prefer to shoot mostly at about 1500 fps or less velocity and do not need a gas check to do so.

I tried some of the ranch dog one's but did not work as well as I had hoped in my 25-35. So I am going to need to back out of this buy.
    Sorry for any inconvenience,

I want in on this, but can't decide: I'm looking to load for a vintage Marlin 92 in 25-20, and was wondering if I really need a GC in this caliber. I would rather not have it, but am I "on the line" so to say, for needing one? Thanks-
I shoot so that I can handload.
