    I have read that the 71 Mauser like mine has a larger bore than the 71/84 repeater. The bore on my single shot is .457". Chamber will only allow a .450" boolit so I use 3grs (yes!) of poly-fil and it shoots good.
    The repeaters are supposed to take the .446" boolit.
