With that dry spell you have there I don't think you will have much luck getting the boat in there.

    Hope you have hip boots.

Don't think of it as rain, think of it as liquid Mosquitos!

    We measure our rain

by the hundreds of thousands of acre feet.
Lately we have experienced a few brief sunny periods.
Has not been up to 65 yet this year.
We get about five days in the summer when it is way too hot. +90. We get about five days when it is too cold in winter. < 20 degrees.
The rest of the time it is threatening rain.
A perfect day is when it is 68 and overcast.
I don't see in your pictures any problem that hip waders won't solve, maybe just

    knee boots.

    Life is good

Lord, it's wet here! It's been doing nothing but raining heavily on and off for weeks. We'll get a sunny day and the next it's back to cats and dogs. (I'd build an Ark, but I'm out of Maple welding rod....you did know Noah was the first Ark welder right?) I had to move some round bales out the to sheep and horses and I darn near lost the tractor! Went out early this AM to check for lambs and the ground is simply saturated.

    Hope them planes are amphibs!
Reading can provide limited education because only shooting provides YOUR answers as you tie everything together for THAT gun. The better the gun, the less you have to know / do & the more flexibility you have to achieve success.

I went down the next morning and the water is gone--all of it and I can walk the range. It is normal.
Lots of limestone tunnels and I think there is a cavern underneath.
They took a lot of top grade limestone out of here long ago and the Quarry is across the road.

Muzzle blast from the big bores sure would be fun to watch from a distance! Thanks, been a moody day, and I needed that mental picture.

Windy here today with a stray snow flake now, and then.

Times like that I'm glad I've got revolvers to shoot. The self shuckers stay bagged up unless its rimfire or berdan primed surplus.

That is one reason I love my rim-fires no matter how much snow mud or water on the ground I don't have to pick them up unless I start swagging 22 caliber bullets.
