I belong to The York Rifleman gun club.
As another poster noted, I also frequent Shyda's over in Lebanon along with Enck's Gun Barn near Schaefferstown.
I don't know if this would be centrally located enough. My home club is Hopewell Gun Club in Stewartstown Pa., about 20-25 minutes South of York Pa. off Int. 83 on Rt 851. Has 25 yds to 300 yds with 8 covered concrete benches. Almost all weekends are full with scheduled club activities but weekdays it's a ghost town. Anybody wishing to try to get a "few" guys together for a fun shoot would probably be OK. But, I would have to check with the club officials first as we are only allowed a maximum of two guests at a time normally. Anybody interested I'd be happy to check and see how they would react to an informal fun shoot. There are plenty of restaurants and lodging less than 15 minutes from the range for those that might be inclined to stay overnight instead of making the round trip in one day. No guarantees they would approve the activity but it doesn't hurt to ask. If this isn't centrally located enough I'd be interested in going on a little field trip and meeting for a shoot at a range that is.
A post and a PM with any thoughts would be helpful.
