    Gun owner sucess

I have been taking a female co-worker to the range for almost a year. I took me weeks to convince her to try shooting the first time.
After many sessions at the range shooting 38's in my GP100 she is going to the Fu store to buy her own.
I could not be happier to have her getting her own firearm. It makes me happy to know that I have introduced a non-shooter to responsible gun ownership and the enjoyment shooting can bring.

She has never really liked my 1911 and another person she knows had her try a couple Glocks. I have a strong feeling she will be looking for a nice, simple 357 revolver.

As an added benefit I found out she knows a guy who runs a service station and they are going to start saving wheel weights for her! Goes to show you just never know where you might find lead. Must be karma.

Great deal. The more gun owners we have the better for us. I find most people are mislead and just don't really understand.

I started my adult daughter with a 22 semi-auto last year.
(she was not interested in shooting til her husband got into it)
this christmas, she found a Colt Trooper MKIII 357mag under the tree, from me.
she loves it...I think she'll be shooting for the rest of her life

22's work great for beginners and revolvers seem to be the trick to help a lot of people. They are easy to shoot and are no brainer firearms. From what I've seen in teaching people they tend to shoot revolvers better than the semi's.

She ended up with a 6 in GP 100 stainless steel, adjustable sights. 230 or so rounds thru it today and only a hint of lead. Looks like it will be a good shooter, not going to need a lot of work to make things happy!
She was very proud to make the purchase and I was even prouder to be there with her.
