Great day at the range- terrible time there

Went to the local gun range today. I got there at 8:45. Too bad that they didn't open until 10:00 AM. I finally get in and the place fills up like crazy. All lanes are full and over a dozen waiting. The guy to my left had a .22 auto and the brass kept coming through a gap between us. The guy on the right was sharing a lane with someone else and somebody was watching over my shoulder most of the time. (anyway) I recently put a Ultra Red Dot scope on my GP-100 and was there to sight it in. It worked well. I haven't been able to shoot that good in years. I even had my bifocals on.

I don't know why there are just 5 holes in the target. I thought I shot 6 but I must not have. I ain't that good.
Thanks for all the help guys with casting. This was a LEE 158 RNFP sized to .3585 with 13 gr. of AA#9 and Tula Mag primers and Carnuba Red for lube. No leading. I went through a total of 70 rounds.

Very nice, pat yourself on the back and have a "33".

Maybe indoor ranges are just like that. I have always shot out at farms but as more small farms are bought up by bigger guys, I have lost most places to shoot. My brother sold his farm this past year and I have to shoot at public ranges now. I've got to find another place or just get used to the public ranges. It's fun just walking along and shooting hedge apples or other targets of opportunity. You don't have to worry about the guy on either side of you either.

Found some "33" some years ago. Didn't taste the same. Maybe the rumored formaldahyde was missing. Anyway, I liked it better back in '68-'69.

Oh, by the way, nice shooting.

Nice shooting, and unless you only pulled 5 out of the cylinder, I think that number six went through one of the holes with 2 in them, possibly the lower one.

Glad to see your shooting a revolver! I try to teach a lot of people on revolvers as for some reason they shoot better with them! Nice shooting!
