Sorta like I would have a Life Estate in my junk. I have thousands of dollars worth of gear and guns. Probably take a stout one ton truck to haul it off.
Would something like a raffle be legal? Doable?
This would enable me to enjoy my stuff and have money too. Whats to not like?
Maybe someone could start a website to facilitate us old timers in doing this.
Just charge a small handling fee to be paid out of the ticket sales.
An old guy in his sixties could sell five thousand tickets for a dollar each.
A guy in his seventies could sell 1500 tickets for five dollars each.
A guy in his eighties could charge the full ten dollars each for a thousand tickets.
Probably is gambling? Is this not what insurance companies do?

I have always enjoyed pawing through stuff left by old guys that didn't have a plan.

    Life is good
In Alberta (Canada) you have to be a non profit society to hold a raffle. I've got the "non profit" part down but I can not get society status....

FWIW: That is an adjustable Ideal Nose pore .36 caliber mold for paper patch bullets.
A photo of the mold can be found on page 38 if the third edition Lyman Cast bullet handbook.

    Guess my age.

Seriously this fellow is early 80s and is slowly winding down his shooting activities.
He has a private range less than 100 feet from his back door. I'm considering mining the berm for the lead and copper scrap.

Here's hoping I have something to wind down from at 80!
