    Talking 32/40 loads

    I am looking for load info for 32/40 cast loads
    found a few in the lyman cast bullet book
    any info will be a great help
    also it will be loaded in a winchester lever gun [origional]

    I use the following in my Stevens #47:

    Federal Large Rifle Primer; 14 gr. IMR-4227; Ideal 319162 sized .322"
    About 1470 fit/sec
    Same bullet sized .323" with 17 gr of either VihtaVouri-N-130 or VV-N-133
    Win Large Pistol Primer; 15 gr IMR-4227, Ideal 321297GC sized .323"

    In a relined Winchester High Wall:

    Federal Gold Medal Match Large Rifle Primer; 13.5 gr XMP-5744 OR 17.0 gr VV-N-133; Ideal 321297GC sized .322"
    Same primer; 15.5 gr Reloder #7; Ideal 319162 sized .323"

    Cases are whatever I have available, mostly R-P, Rem-UMC and Win "Duke" Commemorative.

    Tried 6.0 grs. of Trail Boss with 210gr. Hoch and Rem. 2 1/2 primers...grouped well but slow...shows promise.
