    Kershaw Blur.
Only down side is that it doesn't function well as a pry bar due to the assisted open mechanism.

What knives do you carry everyday?

That's funny. I just bought a pry bar that doesn't function well as a knife.

    Michael J,
Is that a blade you made or did you buy it? I dig the handle.

Lone Wolf version of Paul knife. Have a special needs grandson, do not want him opening my knife by accident. Very sharp, last one I could find anywhere in North America a few years back.

I carry a small Buck fixed blade knife with a skeletonized handle. I sewed a matching leather sheath with welt and made that into a neck knife. I wear it every day. No one ever knows I have a knife on me. If I'm told to empty my pockets, no one will ever see my razor sharp Buck neck knife !!.

At work i carry a 4" SOG assisted open 50/50 serrated/smooth knife, that thing has saved my butt a couple times. Now i have begun to carry a 2" fixed blade caping knife by Bitteroot Blades of Florence, Mt, that my uncle gave me for christmas when i am in town as it is a classy little bugger. I'll also use it for hunting, my usual hunting knife is a Buck 110 folder or an identical Schrade. I go through dozens of deer and antelope each year with them, and they work fine on elk too, i prefer them over a Rambo fixed blade. If i know i am going to be short quartering an elk, i do carry my Mundial boning knives. I also aways carry a little Buck knife in my wallet just in case i lose or forget my other knife someplace.

Why does a man with a 7mag never panic buy? Because a man with a 7mag has no need to panic!

I work at a university and carry a mid size folder made by Junglee "Marshal". I have carried this knife for the last 15 years or so and don't feel comforatble without it. I carried it overseas and it has become a part of me. My co-workers are always amazed that I openly Carry (Pocket clip) a weapon at the university. I have had many discussions about the weapon being between my ears and the knife is a tool. They just don't comprehend! This is the place where we educate people about the world but they don't have the first clue about real life.

Our department put on some training about what to do in case of a shooter on campus and it was amazing to me that they thought it was safe to lock the door and hide in a classroom. It didn't dawn on them that a preschooler can kick through sheetrock and a guy with a gun has an automatic dooropener....

Over the last couple of years I have been using a Benchmade 581. Very happy with it. Great steel, excellent quality, nice axis-assist, and great blade geometry.
