    Mold Identification numbers

    To All,

While going through the cast bullet molds I got this week I noticed a 2 or 3 digit number below the mold identification number. Is this the serial number of the mold? If so does a lower number command a premium?
I should have the list of molds complete by next weekend.

I believe it is a way for the Mfg. to keep the halves together after cherrying. No premium price. Gianni.

If this is the same number on both blocks, it is a Lyman matching number to keep the two blocks together once they have been designated a pair. Only Lyman among my moulds has this feature. H&G, Lee, NEI, and RCBS moulds in my accumulation do not.
