"Ruger Only" .45 Colt mold - Loadings

Being new to the 45 LC game, I am curious what everyone is loading this new bullet with. My version is the gascheck variety. I will be shooting in mine in a Ruger Blackhawk and a Casull model 83. Particularly loads using W296 and Unique, as those are my most commonly loaded powders. I also occasionally load 4227. As usual, all your help is greatly appreciated.

With the solid round I was going to start with 22.5 grains of h110/296 and work up to a .1 geain at a time to 1300fps from a 7 1/2" blackhawk.

For the HP version I was going to start with 12 grains and work up to the 900-1000fps range

Have all intentions of making it to the range sometime this week.
Loaded 50 solids at 330grs and 50 of the penta HP's at 310gr.
21.0gr H110, Starline once fired brass and a CCI LPM to lite it off with. Used this for both loads.

    We shall see!!!!!

    Talking First Attempt

Shot some of the regular HP GC's today. Just got to go at lunch and test fire about 20 rounds. I went with 20g W296/CCI Lrg Magnum primers/new Starline brass. Shot really well at 25 yds into a ragged 2" hole off-hand. I'll drag the chrono out next week and report back in. Really looks promising.

BB should make it out tomorrow. Some of the guys provided me some info on how to get my old shooting chrony up and running. Looks hopefully that I will have the chrony with me when I shoot.

    Will let you know.

Well made it to the range today but I probaly should of stayed at home!

Forgot my pistol rest and sandbags that I use and the chrony would not work properly due to the light.

Did get five rounds of the HP's across the screens and they averaged out to 1144fps. That is with 21.0grs of H110. Shot the rounds out of a Ruger Bisley with a 5 1/2" barrel.

I've only cast and shot the solid, mine are weighing 323 grains sized .454 lubed with BAC. I'm loading 17.5 grains of 2400 over a Federal 150 and chronographing 1075 shooting out of a Bisley 7.5" barrel, shooting about 3" groups at 50 yards with open sights over a rest. I might work this load a little, but so far I'm pleased.
    My mould is plain base.

LUCKYDAWG13 I can send you some. Pm on the way.

Can these be loaded in the casull a little shorter so that they fit? Would it cause any problems other than the crimp groove not lining up? I was thinking of starting with a start load for the 300 xtp and working up and watching to see if the boolit will pull out of the case. Any thoughts?
