    what color?

    morning ,
i have decided that today is a boring day ,so i'm going to give my old #45 a facelift.
gonna strip it down to bare bones and get my heatgun out clean and degrease or de-lube, so i was thinking while its in pieces i might give it a new paint job.
the question is ,,, what is the closest color to the "lyman orange",? and can i get it at autozone,?...
if not i,m thinking all black we'll see.
everyone have a great sunday ..adrians

i prefer a lil brighter orange and use the medium chevy hi heat orange , they make 3 colors in this , red orange ( too red ) medium orange ( what i use and a lil too brite but close ) and old chevy orange this is more of a yellower orange than the medium and while not honestly correct is pretty close , this is what i use

on this list the chrysler hemi orange is closer as they don thave the older yellower chevy orange ( #de 1652 ) IMHO the hi heat/ceramic part also allows me to bake it dry if i wish and holds up to about any heat i will subject the thing too

from autozone one of these two should be close

thanks guy's i ended up at autozone and cos the beast was in bits i took the handle with me and decided on rust-oleum engine enamel, very close to original color, alot brighter as is expected being my #45 is as old as the hills.
