340302 in the 300-325gr range would be enough reason for me to start thinking about a B-I-G 338. The 341299 is another fine looking design.

Pencil me in for a four cavity of which ever is decided on. If we can do both, that would be fine for me. One of each, and thank you kindly...

How about to make this easier to follow, if your interested copy this, paste it in a "quick reply" and add your handle.
1 scb Sorry, I'm out. Going elsewhere, not enough interest, even from builder.

    SCB,

O Jeez, now I have to build a 338 Edge over the winter.

Mark me down for whichever the group decides on. Both if possible, 4-cavity please.

They of course can be changed.
The above specs seems to fit my 338 Lapua perfect!
Any estimate on the weight of such a boolit?

Do we have ten yet on each design?

The flat nose has "Elk Stomper" written all over it, and the pointy one just looks too fine in a 338 Edge to pass up.

I'd be happy to pay the extra ten-spot to get going.

4-cavity of each, gas checked of course.

    thanks,

    Rich

    Working on the drawing.
With a length of 1.55" we will need to go with our large (deep) blocks.
Will try to get a drawing and more info posted yet this week.

    Hang in there.

that would work for me, even a two cavity of each would be good enough.

you are working on a scaled up 311247 and 311365, right? Choice is good...

No they are both scaled up 311247. The one basically just has the ogive carried forward to form a point. The lube grooves are toward the back of the boolit to keep them inside the case. Grooves on the 365 are more widely spaced.
