That is awesome! Well done that man!

Make it a bit more solid and you could use it to bump start a motorciccle!

Thanks to Jmorris and his blade i now have an annealer.

here are a few pics and a video of the test run with junk cases

here is the link to the video annealer test run video

This is the motor i will be using for turning the cases it is a 30 rpm motor. i am going to start out hooking it up to the variable power supply but if it slows down too much i will just get a small 12 volt power supply of some sort

There is some serious talent here. No doubt of that but are you folks telling me you have CNC lathes and mills in your home work shop to make all this "home made" stuff.

Maybe you should build a lathe?

My question was meant more for the folks like jmorris and aneat. Although there are many really nice projects shown here that show ingenuity and some real talent with hand tools, some of these projects would be very difficult without access to a lathe and mill. And yes I know some can make almost anything with a hacksaw a file and a drill, but I suspect the fancy toys built by jmorris and aneat were built with tools not found in most home work shops. Please don't take this wrong as I do realize the talent and ingenuity that goes into even the simple projects shown here. I'm just jealous of those that have big boy toys ( lathes and mills and such) in their home work shops. Some great ideas here. keep at it.

    Lube Mold

Here's a lube mold I made several years ago when I was doing a lot of experimenting with different lubes.

It's simply a 2X6 split in the center, a piece of rubber placed in the center for a seal and one inch ID thin wall aluminum tubes. A piece of one inch oak dowel is a slip fit inside the tubes to push out the lube sticks once cooled.

    homemade 410 dies

Ok so thought of another project today that I don't have time for. Have been looking at the 410 lee loaders and was wondering if anybody has ever made one for a press. It looks strait forward enough just a matter of time.

This is to seat and swage a very soft lead ball into a case that is already fully inserted into a custom die that supports the case and to be throat.

This is an adapter so a 32 S&W long can be crimped upside down in a Lee 308 rifle factory crimp die.

This is an RCBS primer tray that has a hole in the wall and a trench milled out to be a Forster primer tube loading tray.

Amazing stuff and as I said earlier, I thought my sawn off big funnel for returning powder to the can was pretty flash!

What was the final cost of this machine? Awesome!

@ArrowJ, under $40.00. The springs were actually the most expensive part, not the motor! The motor came out of a Harbor Freight 6 inch car polisher.
It actually turned out much better then I expected!

    Homemade?

Ever think of drawing up plans and sharing them? Or maybe you could just build another one and video the entire process? I am trying to go cheap for certain equipment in the Spring. The MidwayUSA model is about that price, but yours look much neater!
