    Homemade?

Just wanted to start a thread to see what homemade items people have made for their reloading/casting hobby. Pics?!? Could be anything from homemade reloading trays to homemade case feeders.

I can't keep up with JMorris, but I am building an auto annealer using one of his blades.

Also built a rotary tumbler, drying rack for the brass after it comes out of the rotary tumbler, auto drive for the1050.

I will post pics when I figure out how and have the time.

Jmorris, after being constantly chided by others for their view that I go overboard with the things I like, I LOVE it when I find a person who makes me look like a complete slacker!

A case feeder for a Square Deal??? Was this for a bet? Why not one for an original Lee Loader?

Sort of, there were a couple of guys talking about how they would do it on another forum and were going to post CAD drawings when they got a chance. I think some one decided it couldn't be done, so I did it one afternoon.

Reminds me of my old business model. If it was impossible to do, please add three days to the delivery time!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

No its actually a auger motor out of a machining center. It normally has a 12ft steel "corckscrew" hanging off of it to pull metal chips out of the machine.

Anyway, the keyway got "wallered" out so it had to be replaced. The gearbox and motor were still fine so I claimed it.

Ive probably been using it about 10 years now.

I think a treadmill motor would work great if you had a support for the front end of whatever container you were using.
