I like that HDPE, any advice on where is best place to buy it? I just bought a S&W 627 and was thinking about a moon clip holder, and this material would be perfect for loaded moon clips, and I could stack them. If I found the right box, 3-4 trays, and I'm in business.
Now I just need to figure out how I am going to make my loader.

For small stuff, I buy cutting boards at wallyworld, come in different sizes/thicknesses.
Easy to cut/drill/file/shape into whatever you need, as long as you like white.

I buy the HDPE on ebay. Lots of sizes and colors to choose from. Walmart / Dollar Store cutting boards work as well.

I never thought of using the stuff. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a great resource. Great material.

First off, this was not to save money, do it better or for any reason other than I broke my decapping pin and did not want to wait on one to ship while I sat twiddling my thumbs on my day off.

I know it's not pretty but it's working and I am loading without risking my last pin. It's a finishing nail that I ground down to size on my bench grinder. On the left is the hornady one for reference.

I like that the catch cup is labeled. Nice touch.

Your piece looks like something Lee should incorporate into their standard design.

If you are looking at the bottom right that is a piece of stainless steel to cover a hole that was drilled through the bench for an old pro 1000. If you are looking to the left that is a piece of 1/2" steel plate that I bolt my presses to. If you are talking the the grey thing that is in the plastic die cases that is a washer and a screw.

Same Idea, steel plate, with coupling nuts as risers, and no welding.

Yes, was going to go that way but I don't like that it only had 3 small points of contact. A good friend of mine had the same press and after a couple thousand rounds he broke the press into 5 pieces from sizing rifle brass. These press have to be order and cost us around $60 to $80. It is hard to get anything for reloading except primers and some powders.

I think he was asking about the grey part behind the ram. Looks like something to control the spent primers.

Made a holder for all the little items on the casting bench so they don't scatter or get tipped over .

um, it's actually a pro 1000 setup for 45acp, so not a lot of sizing force, and the plate/base underneath minimizes any flex.
The pro 1000 has the same base as the Classic Cast Turret.
I use a plate under all presses to standardize the mounting hole pattern and swap them out to the same spot on my bench.

Not pictures he threw out the press and picked up a used Lee 3 hole turret.

Made three more expanders to help form 223 into 357AR/357Max rimless. They save me a couple steps and a lot of time over my previous setup. They're made from hardened O1 that is threaded 5/8-18tpi to fit a Lee powder through die.
